Capability

Workspace, projects & environments

Organize stories under projects and teams, attach environments to runs, and keep the right credentials, URLs, and sprint context at your fingertips.

How to use it

  1. 1 Open Workspace in the side panel left rail.
  2. 2 Create a project (e.g. Telco Billing) and add the teams that work on it.
  3. 3 Add environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) with their base URL and notes.
  4. 4 Assign each imported suite to a project / team and pick the active environment before you start a run.
  5. 5 Switch the active environment from the dashboard header — every report you export carries the env stamp.

Use cases

Multi-environment testing

Tag the run with the environment you're testing on so the exported PDF shows "Tested on UAT" — no manual note required.

Multiple projects, one browser

A consultant juggling three clients can keep each one's suites under its own project and never mix evidence.

Team handover

When passing a story to another tester, they see the same project / env config you used so the run is reproducible.

Sprint mapping

Sprint numbers detected on import roll up into the project so dashboards filter naturally by sprint.

Tips

  • Environments accept free-text notes — use them for VPN, jump-host, or test-credential reminders.
  • Delete or rename a project at any time — suites under it keep working, they just become "Unassigned".
  • Project / team metadata is included in every PDF and Excel report header.
