Privacy promise
QA Workspace was built for testers who handle pre-release builds, customer data, and internal systems. The product makes that easy by getting out of the way: nothing is sent anywhere unless you explicitly export it.
No account, ever
You install the extension and start working. There is no sign-up, no email verification, and no licence server. The extension does not know who you are and does not need to.
No telemetry
The extension does not measure clicks, page views, feature usage, crashes, or anything else. There is no analytics SDK bundled. The build you install is the same build everyone else has, and it phones home to nobody. This marketing website uses Google Analytics only to count anonymous visits — not your extension data. No AI
QA Workspace does not call any LLM provider. Test cases, defects, screenshots, and comments are never sent to a third-party model — not for autocomplete, not for summarisation, not for anything.
Local-only storage
Imported test cases, runs, screenshots, and defects live inside your browser's extension storage on your machine. Clearing the extension's data wipes everything on that machine; nothing remains on a server because nothing was ever on one.
You own the export
PDF, Excel, and ZIP exports are generated locally and saved to your Downloads folder. Sharing them with a teammate or attaching them to a ticket is your call — the extension neither sees nor stores those copies.
What permissions are requested
QA Workspace asks only for permissions it actually needs: side panel access, storage on your machine, and screenshot capture of the active tab. It does not request host permissions for arbitrary sites and cannot read content across the web.
